Curriculum Guides
Culturally rooted, standards-aligned units.
Five-week units that center Africa and the Black diaspora through integrated content of literacy, social studies, and the arts. CCSS aligned with backwards mapping using the B.E.E.S.R.P. method to organize content and center culture and African/African American content, ensuring that our stories are never erased. Each guide includes pacing, lesson plans, texts, discussion prompts, and reflection—so learners become brilliantly rooted in accurate, inclusive history.
Please Note: Some units are on a timeline of events and are numbered. These units may be purchased separately or in bundles (with activity books) or as a subscription, which saves even more. There are some units that are totally independent of the timeline and contain no number.
